Developer: Monstera Games  -   160 plays

Checkers Deluxe Edition allows you to play the timeless game of checkers online, either solo against the computer or with two players on the same device. Checkers is a strategic board game played between two players on an 8x8 square board. Each player has pieces of a different color placed on the black squares of the board. The objective of the game is to capture all of the opponent's pieces or block them so they can no longer make a move. Checkers is appreciated for its apparent simplicity, but it offers strategic depth that makes it an interesting challenge for players of all levels.

What are the rules of checkers?Piece placement: At the beginning of the game, each player places their pieces on the black squares of the first three rows on their side of the board.
Movements: Pieces move diagonally forward, one square at a time, on the black squares.
Captures: A piece can capture an opponent's piece by jumping over it, provided that the landing square is free. Multiple captures are possible if the conditions are met.
Kings: When a piece reaches the last row on the opposite side, it is promoted to a 'king.' A king can move diagonally both forward and backward, and it can capture pieces over multiple squares in a row.
End of Game: The game ends when a player has captured all of the opponent's pieces or has blocked them so they can no longer make a move.
